This week's biggest social media news includes the $2-billion deal between Facebook and a startup company focused on bringing virtual reality to it's users-the Oculus Rift. The deal has caused all kinds of flurries within the tech industry, some more positive than others. Most aversion to the bond is due to concerns that the Oculus Rift will be redesigned and/or renamed (which, according to Facebook, is not the case). We at ICONHOUSE are among the excited, we can't wait to see what kind of reality immersion this technology will bring to the fashion industry-shopping, viewing, designing, etc!
