So many congratulations to Roksanda Ilincic for opening her store on Mount St. in London earlier this summer! I was delighted to get a personal tour from the uber talented designer. I have watched her designs and business blossom over the last few years and she has created a unique vision of the modern woman.

Her collection spans two floors, boasts its own garden terrace, and temps passersby on the street by shining through large windows in front and back. The store itself could have been pulled from her designs, detailed in patterns and colors that remind us of those clothes we covet.

The designer partnered with her longtime friend and multiple-award-winning architect David Adjaye. He created the space and the furniture, and Roksanda’s colors spoke for themselves.

With herringbone marble floors, geometric mirrors, plush purple, magenta and absinthe walls the young British designers are starting to mark their territory on London’s lavish retail street.
