The fall 2015 runways were bedecked in shearling coats, fur stoles and a variety of faux fur outerwear—it’s clear this season’s dose of cozy outerwear is here to stay. Many designers—seen at Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and more—had unveiled their own interpretation of the classic staple, but with a sleeker, newly revamped appearance. This season, mundane outerwear was out of the style equation and in its place, was a surge of unexpected designs, shapes and hues. So rather than succumbing to sartorial styles that are less than stellar, be bold and bundle up in fall’s plushest coats in oversized proportions, slim silhouettes and daring color fabrications.
