"Working with Jane has always been a collaboration, as Jane has many facades to her life and career. Right now she is wearing her hair a little longer. 
For the the AFI awards I gave Jane lots of volume, but utilizing her natural wave; keeping her hair looking glamorous like the icon movie star that she is, but trying to keep it from looking like a DO. It's very easy to start looking like an up tight First Lady! Keeping it a little looser is so much more sexy!

I did a gentle set using blow dry and brushes, and then took,small sections through the top and did a light tease at the root to add to the volume, spritz a small amount of Glam Waves from the Sally Hershberger line to loosen the hair from the shape of the brush and bring in her natural wave for a more natural tousled look. With a little cheat of two or three hits with a curling iron in the right place for extra body to accentuate and create lift, for an instant facelift, by directing the hair away and out from the face and checkboxes."
